FAQ

Here are answers to the questions I receive most often about ordering, products, warranties, returns, and shipping. If you don’t see your question here, please contact me. I’m always happy to help.

Ordering

Can I request custom labeling or numbering?

Yes. We offer custom labeling and cable numbering upon request. Because this service requires additional labor, a small additional charge may apply. Contact us before ordering for details.

Do you build custom cable lengths?

Absolutely. Every cable is hand-built to order, and custom lengths are available for most products. If you don’t see the length you need, just contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

How long does it take to build my order?

Most orders ship within 5 to 10 business days. Larger or highly customized orders may require additional time. If your order will be delayed, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.

Please refer to our Lifetime Warranty for complete details.

Who pays return shipping?

For approved warranty claims, Wild Willie’s Cables pays the return shipping back to you. Customers are responsible for shipping the item to us for inspection.

About Wild Willie’s Cables

Who actually builds my cables?

Every cable sold by Wild Willie’s Cables is personally built by me, Bill Hubbard.

I don’t outsource assembly or buy pre-made cables from overseas. Every cable is hand assembled using genuine premium components, carefully soldered, individually tested, and inspected before it is packaged and shipped.

I’ve spent years working as a professional live sound engineer, building and maintaining cables for my own systems and for musicians who rely on them every weekend. The same care and attention to detail that goes into the cables I use on stage goes into every cable I build for my customers.

When you purchase from Wild Willie’s Cables, you’re buying directly from the person who designed, assembled, tested, and stands behind your cable.

Are your cables made in the USA?

Yes. Every Wild Willie’s cable is proudly Hand-Built in Florida, USA. Every cable features:

  • Premium components from trusted manufacturers
  • Professional workmanship
  • Individual electrical testing
  • Final inspection before shipping

That’s what we mean when we say “Florida Built – Gator Tough!”

Why should I buy from Wild Willie’s instead of Amazon?

Wild Willie’s Cables specializes in hand-built, professional-grade audio cables made with genuine Mogami, Canare, Neutrik, and other premium components. Every cable is individually assembled, soldered, tested, and backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If you ever have a question or need assistance, you’ll be working directly with the person who built your cable.

Why should I trust Wild Willie’s Cables?

I’ve spent years working as a professional live sound engineer, supporting bands at dozens of events every year. I build and use the same cables I sell, and they have been proven in demanding real-world environments. My goal is simple: build cables that I would confidently use on my own stage.
